Interpretation:

1.   Through   divination,   the   tribe could  avert  misfortune  and  align  with auspicious outcomes.

2.  The  bull   served   as   a  totemic object of tribal veneration. Its formidable physique enabled apotropaic functions – warding    off    evil    influences    while intimidating   malign   forces   –   thereby ensuring      the      tribe’s      demographic continuity.
