Interpretation:

1.The success of love and reproduction is influenced by both the ancestors and the thunder god in the heavens.

2.The bull serves as the tribe’s totemic object of worship. The bull’s  strength  and vitality are believed to safeguard the tribe’s prosperity and continuity.

The images in this chapter are sourced from the seal patterns displayed on the official Harappa website, as well as photographs taken in museums. Additionally, they have been cross-referenced with the three- volume Corpus of Indus Seals and Inscriptions published by UNESCO and the Finnish Academy of Science between 1987 and 2010. Clear original images of the seals have been supplemented and are referred to as C1, C2, and C3
